Riders, documents, requirements and notes

The standing information that travels with the artist to every show.

Riders

Add hospitality, technical, visuals or other riders to the artist's Riders tab. Each one can be an uploaded document, written text, or a link to a rider held elsewhere. New advances get the current riders attached automatically.

  • On an advance, you can change a rider's format or reword it for that show only, for example "No haze at this venue". The profile version stays as it is.

  • If you update a rider after an advance has gone to the promoter, that advance offers Newer version available so you can choose whether to update it.

Documents

Standing files such as a stage plot, input list, press shots, bio or logo pack. Each one has a folder and a visibility:

  • Team only: your workspace only.

  • Tour Manager: also visible to Tour Managers in the Artist App.

  • Promoter: also attached to every new advance for the promoter to download.

Passport and ID documents are always Team only and can never be shared with a promoter. They're stored privately and opened through short-lived links.

Requirements

Requirements are the asks that apply to every show. They appear on the promoter form as a read-only Artist requirement card, next to the section they relate to.

  • Accommodation: hotel standard, rooms and room type.

  • Ground transport: the vehicle needed.

  • Flights / trains: class of travel. Shown only when flights are part of the promoter's deal.

  • Hospitality: a short summary alongside the hospitality rider.

  • Guestlist: the usual allocation.

  • Technical: a short summary alongside the tech rider.

Requirements are copied onto each new advance, where you can adjust them on the Deal tab for that show only. They're hidden from the promoter when that item isn't theirs under the deal.

The promoter can flag a requirement as Can't meet this with a comment, such as "Only 3-star available nearby". It appears in your review banner. In the Artist App, only Tour Managers see requirements.

Notes

  • General notes, such as "Prefers late check-out", are seen by your team and Tour Managers. Tick Share with promoter to show one on the promoter form under "Anything we should know".

  • Medical and dietary notes are kept separately and seen only by your team and Tour Managers. Share an item with the promoter only when the venue needs to act on it, such as an allergy for catering. They're never shown to the artist or travelling party.

Every time someone in your workspace views medical notes, it's logged. The log is on the artist's Notes tab.
