The Artist App

What the artist, tour manager and travelling party see, and how they sign in.

The Artist App is a simple, mobile-first view of every show someone is on. It works on a laptop too, and lives at /tour.

Signing in

  1. They open the invite email and select Open my tour, or go to /tour.

  2. They enter their email and get a 6-digit code. There's no password.

  3. The code lasts 10 minutes. A new one can be requested after 60 seconds.

  4. Once in, they stay signed in on that device for 90 days.

Only people on an artist's team with app access can get a code. Anyone else gets the same neutral reply, so the app never reveals who's on a tour. If the code doesn't arrive, ask them to check spam, then resend their invite from the Team tab.

My gigs

Upcoming gigs, soonest first, with today's show at the top. Past gigs are tucked away below. Anyone on more than one artist's team sees all their gigs in one list.

The gig

  • At a glance: date, venue, doors and set time, plus the key show info you've written for them.

  • Next up: on show day, the next thing on their schedule.

  • Schedule: grouped by day, with past items faded. Artists and the travelling party see their own items by default, and can switch to Everybody. Driver numbers can be tapped to call.

  • Venue and Hotel: a map, Open in Maps, and the details they need on arrival.

  • Contacts: show contacts, then the travelling party, with call, text and email buttons.

  • Running order: with the artist's own slot highlighted.

  • Guest list, Documents and Gig details, including which riders the promoter has confirmed.

Sections with nothing in them are greyed out. A Download PDF button gives them a copy of their itinerary.

For Tour Managers

  • An Edit button on each section. Every edit is logged on the advance.

  • On a multi-artist event, venue and running order are shared, so they get Suggest a change instead, for you to approve.

  • Publish to push updates to the team.

  • A Tour manager only area on Gig details with the artist's requirements, notes, medical and dietary notes, and Tour Manager documents.

Handy to know

  • Light or dark: they can choose System, Light or Dark in settings.

  • Poor signal: the last itinerary they loaded stays readable offline, marked with when it was last updated.

  • Cancelled shows stay in the list, clearly marked as cancelled.
