Catering overview

Who eats, what they're entitled to, and recording every meal served.

Catering manages crew and artist meals: what's on offer, who's entitled to it, and recording each meal as it's collected. It's available in Festival workspaces.

How it works

  1. Set up catering types: breakfast, lunch, dinner, a crew bar token, whatever you serve.

  2. Allocate catering types to crew, touring party members or whole suppliers.

  3. Collect: your catering team finds or scans each person and records the meal.

  4. Track what's been used, what's left and what to expect each day.

The tabs

  • Dashboard for numbers at a glance, with an export.

  • Collection for serving people one at a time.

  • Bulk Collection for recording a whole supplier's meal in one go.

  • Diets for dietary requirements and allergies.

  • Allocations for who's entitled to what.

  • Volunteers for volunteer and crew meal numbers by day.

  • Catering Types for what you serve. Only visible to people with permission to manage types.

How it connects

  • Crew Logistics. Meal preferences, allergies and arrival and departure dates on a crew profile feed straight into Catering.

  • Artist Logistics. Touring party members can be allocated catering like crew.

  • Supplier portal. Suppliers you give a catering allocation to can share it out among their own crew.

  • Volunteer Hub. Volunteer meal numbers come from approved volunteers with published shifts.

  • Person codes. Your catering team can scan a person's pass or code at the catering point to find them.

Who can use it

Catering has its own permissions: viewing the module, editing allocations, and managing catering types are set separately, so the team serving food doesn't have to see everything else.
