Setting up catering types
What you serve, when it's available, and how often it can be used.
Catering types are the meals and entitlements you offer. Set them up in Catering Types before allocating anything.
Adding a catering type
Click Add Type and set:
Name and Description.
Mode: how many can be handed out in total.
Default usage: how often one person can use it.
Date availability: the dates it's served. Leave it blank for the full event.
Time window: the hours it's served, for example 07:00–10:00. Leave it blank for any time.
Modes
Unlimited: no overall limit.
Capped: a fixed total across the festival.
Daily capacity: a limit per day as well as a total.
Default usage
1 / day: one use per day.
Fixed number per day: for example, three drinks tokens a day.
Unlimited: no daily limit.
This is the default for anyone allocated the type. You can override it for an individual allocation.
Managing types
The list shows each type's mode, default usage, dates and time window. Sort by Available From, Available Until or Name. Switch Active off to stop a type being allocated or collected without deleting it.
