Guestlist request forms
Public forms for people to request a place on the guestlist.
A request form is a public page where people ask to be put on the guestlist. Nobody needs an account to fill one in.
Creating a form
Go to Request Forms and click New Form.
Give it a name, for example "Friday Guestlist Request", and click Create.
The form opens, ready to set up.
Every form has its own public link, shown under Public URL. Use Copy link to share it, or Preview to see what guests will see.
Form details
Name: what you call the form.
Submission Deadline: after this date and time, the form stops taking requests.
Branding
Add a Banner Image and Logo, then set the Page Title, Intro Text, Guidance Notes, Terms and the Confirmation Message people see after they submit.
Form fields
New forms start with Full Name and Email (both required), Phone, Date of Birth and Notes. These standard fields can't be removed or change type, but you can rename them and decide whether they're required.
Click Add Field for your own questions. Field types are Text, Email, Phone, Date, Long Text, Checkbox, Single Choice (dropdown) and Multiple Choice. Choice fields take a list of options, and can allow an "Other" answer with free text.
Related To
With Capture "Related To" switched on, the form asks whose guestlist the person is on. You can change the question and helper text, for example "Whose guestlist are you on?" with "Artist name, agency or contact".
Click Save when you're done.
Publishing
New forms start as Draft. From the form's menu in Request Forms:
Publish opens the form to the public.
Close stops new requests.
Set to draft takes it offline while you work on it.
Duplicate Form copies its branding, fields and settings into a new draft.
Delete removes the form and all of its requests.
Every request lands in Approvals. Whether someone pays is decided when you approve them, by the sub-type you choose. The form itself never takes payment.
